‘Waves’ - poem

 

Waves

I am glad you stayed with me. 

When I sit at the seaside and watch the waves 

it is beautiful. 

And when it rains and I have to sit on the terrace to watch the waves 

it is beautiful in a different way. 

Life is beautiful and living is an enormous thing. 

Dying is nothing. 

Living is the harder part and far more sensual.
